KBM-1003 is a vinyl-functional silane coupling agent, specifically Vinyltrimethoxysilane. It is widely used in moisture-cured systems to improve the physical and thermal properties of organic polymers and provide excellent adhesion to inorganic substrates such as glass, metals, and ceramics. It is suitable for modifying resins and for applications requiring hydrophobic modification of inorganic surfaces. KBM-1003 is also employed as a moisture scavenger and crosslinking additive in moisture-cured systems such as silylated polyethers, silylated polyurethanes, and silicone RTVs.
