KBE-403 is an epoxy-functional silane coupling agent, specifically 3-glycidoxypropyl Triethoxysilane. It is used to enhance adhesion, durability, and mechanical properties in composites and is compatible with a range of thermoset and thermoplastic resins, particularly for inorganic/organic interface applications in coatings, adhesives, and sealants. KBE-403 is typically used in the form of a dilute aqueous solution. It is effective with polyethylene, polyethylene, diallyl phthalate, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polycarbonate, melamine, polyimide, polybutyl terephthalate (PBT), polyethyl terephthalate (PET) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
