Flexisil™ R40 is an alkaline, aqueous nanoparticle dispersion of amorphous colloidal silica. The product is sodium-stabilized, with negatively charged, slightly rough, spherical silica particles. It is used in a variety of industrial applications, including inorganic binding, refractory materials, vacuum-formed refractory shapes, anti-skid surfaces, concrete treatments, and precision investment casting (PIC).
