Flexisil™ 14-40 is an alkaline, aqueous nanoparticle dispersion of amorphous colloidal silica. The silica particles are sodium-stabilized, negatively charged, and have a slightly rough, spherical shape. This product is used in applications such as inorganic binding, refractory, catalysis, coatings, concrete treatment, precision investment casting, oilfield services, and vacuum-formed refractory shapes.
