D-LIMONENE

D-Limonene is a clear, colorless liquid with a faint citrus odor, used extensively in flavoring, fragrance, and industrial applications. It is primarily utilized as a solvent and cleaning agent and is known for its low toxicity and environmental safety. D-Limonene is employed as a non-toxic solvent in oleochemical, wax, resin, paint, and glue industries, in analytical chemistry, and in the extraction of lipids from microalgae. D-Limonene functions clinically to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones and to relieve gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) and heartburn. The product has a minimum purity of 92% and a specific gravity of 0.839-0.845 at 25°C.
