CLAYMINTON 54 is an organoclay (tetra-alkyl ammonium bentonite) used as a rheological additive for low and moderate polarity organic liquids and solvents. It provides high gelling efficiency, thixotropic consistency, and excellent particle suspension across a wide temperature range. The product is available as a finely divided light-white powder and is effective in coatings, cosmetics, greases, plastics, and rubber formulations. It improves product stability, sag resistance, and texture. In cosmetics, it enhances the melting point and stability of formulations.
