API-BI795

Advanced Polymer

Advanced Polymer

API-BI795 is a blocked urethane prepolymer that remains stable at room temperature but dissociates under heat (120-180 °C) to regenerate reactive isocyanate groups. This reactivity enables the formation of durable urethane or urea linkages with active hydrogen compounds. Nonionic in nature and compatible with waterborne systems, API-BI795 offers long pot life, excellent adhesion, and durability. Commonly used in coatings for textiles, wood, leather, inks, adhesives, and metal substrates, it also enhances water and oil repellency when formulated with fluoropolymer emulsions.
